I got a D in Spanish in university, so I have no idea what they are saying in this Spanish phone ad. But that doesn't stop it from being a totally awesome ad. And that is because Ricky Rubio is sooooooooo cute. Don't you just want to pinch his cheeks!?

The Daily Dunk is a regular feature on The Hoops Manifesto where we search the many corners of the internet to find the best dunk videos to save you the time and trouble. Consider it your one-stop shop for rim-rattling, death-defying, baby-crying, slam-jamming dunkerific fun. Next up: Derrick Rose's Oop.
Note to Derrrick Rose: you are a point guard. As a point guard, you must lead the break and throw the alley-oop, not catch it and finish it. In the future, please start acting like the short, non-explosive, earthbound point guard that tradition requires you to be. Thanks.

Vermont's Marqus Blakely gets high, so high.

This video pretty much settles it - LeBron James is a dunk tease. He'll refuse his millions of fans the pleasure of watching him partake in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest, but he still throws down trick dunks in practice where no one sees it. Now that's bourgeois.

Virginia's Mustapha Farrakhan's grandfather, Louis, might be a powerful man (he's the leader of the Nation of Islam) but he most definitely doesn't have the ups that his grandkid does.

Does it really matter that this insane dunk by Seattle University's Charles Garcia was waved off due to charging? Perhaps to fans of the Redhawks it does, but not to us. We care only for the aesthetic quality of the dunk, and this one is aesthetically pleasing to be sure.

It was considered revolutionary when Isaiah "J.R." Rider pulled off his East Bay Funk Dunk in the 1994 Slam Dunk Contest. It wasn't so for me since I saw someone hit that dunk in a dunk contest while I was in high school, years before Rider did it (yes, I'm that old). But I had never seen that dunk executed in a game - until I saw this video of high schooler Quddus "Deuce" Bello, that is:

According to Sports by Brooks, expansion of the NCAA basketball tournament to 96 teams is a "done deal". NOOOOOOOOO!! I was hoping that when this rumor firsts broke a little while back that it was just that - a rumor - but apparently that is not the case. The NCAA Tournament is one of the best (if not THE best) sporting events of the year, making the NCAA millions of dollars and thrilling sports fans as well as your ordinary Joe on the street. So why is the tournament expanding? Why else - money. TV networks wants more games to broadcast, so the NCAA will cater to them. So hurray for us - mediocre teams will now be able to compete in March Madness! Just what we wanted, right?

I know what you are thinking - aren't Wilson Chandler and Jared Jeffries both on the same team, the New York Knicks? Yes, you are correct. But jersey colours mean nothing to Wilson Chandler - he is an equal opportunity dunker.
