The Daily Dunk is a regular feature on The Hoops Manifesto where we search the many corners of the internet to find the best dunk videos to save you the time and trouble.  Consider it your one-stop shop for rim-rattling, death-defying, baby-crying, slam-jamming dunkerific fun.  Today's installment:  50 Inch Vertical?!

And they say that white men can't jump.  Well whoever "they" are, they obviously haven't seen NCAA DIII player Jacob Turner in action.  Oh, and did we mention he is only 5'11" and has a 50" vertical?  Check out these insane dunks he pulls off in this YouTube clip.

Recent Daily Dunks: Gordon Hayward, Blake Griffin's 137 Dunks.

College basketball at its highest level is a corrupt cesspool (and that's probably understating things).  Agents/handlers sell players to schools.  Players cheat on tests and run afoul of the law with minimal consequences.  The NCAA and its member schools make billions of dollars a year off the backs of unpaid "student-athletes", many of whom come from impoverished environments.  Schools revoke player's scholarships if they suddenly become unproductive on the court.  So, considering all of this, what has recently transpired with the BYU Cougars basketball team is shocking and a breath of fresh air. no comments

You probably think I accidentally reversed Paul George and Gordon Hayward's names here - after all, George is supposed to be the high-flyer, not Hayward.  But the roles were reversed last night in Indy, as Hayward delivered this sick facial on George.

Recent Daily Dunks: Blake Griffin's 137 Dunks, Austin Rivers serves up an Oop Facial.

And with that, the Boston Celtics have conceded the NBA title this season.  No, I'm not talking about the fact that they traded Luke Harangody away, rather it is the puzzling deal that sent Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson to Oklahoma City for Jeff Green and Nenad Krstic.  Teams in the title hunt generally don't ship out key contributors at the trade deadline, but that is exactly what Danny Ainge has done.  Perkins has the defensive lynchpin for the team, he did the dirty work and kept a permanent snarl on his face.  Every championship team needs a guy like him on their squad, and his teammates knew it - they loved him.  In fact, him missing the end of last year's Finals due to injury is the excuse that the C's used for losing to the Lakers.  Now they replace him at center with Nenad Krstic?!
