With the decade coming to a close, the World Wide Web has been inundated with NBA Best of the Decade lists. Not to be left out, The Hoops Manifesto wants to share its Best of - with a twist. First up - Most Ridiculous NBA Tattoo(s) of the Decade.
The 00s were definitely the decade of the tattoo in the NBA. Dennis Rodman used to be considered a freak because of all his tattoos (to be fair, he still would have been considered a freak even if he was inkless) - nowadays he'd fit right in. It is next to impossible to find a NBA player without tattoos adorning his arms, legs, chest, stomach, face, head, etc. But, like NBA players, not all tattoos are created equal. With that in mind, here is The Hoops Manifesto choice for Most Ridiculous NBA Tattoo(s) of the 00s:

Deshawn Stevenson wins in a landslide. A tattoo of a crack in his forehead. A backwards Pittsburgh Pirates logo on his cheek. And, the coup de grace, Abe Lincoln on his throat. While he might not be much of a factor on the court, his tattoos are a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations DeShawn on this illustrious award!
Runner Up: Stephen Jackson's "praying hands holding a gun" tattoo on his stomach.
