With the NCAA regular season coming to a close and the NCAA Tournament just around the corner, it's time for awards week at The Hoops Manifesto. We've teamed up with some of the best NCAA writers on the web to vote on who gets the (virtual) hardware. First up: Freshman of the Year

Was there really any doubt? Once Duke's freshman sensation Kyrie Irving went down with his season-ending toe injury, the race for national Freshman of the Year accolades became a one-horse race. And trying to root Ohio State's Jared Sullinger out of the post probably feels like trying to move a horse. Sullinger's unique package of brawn and brains has helped propel the Buckeyes to the upper echilons of the NCAA polls this year and has earned him Bloguin's NCAA Freshman of the Year honours.
