What in the name of Goran Dragic is going on here in this Suns-Spurs series? What kind of bizzaro NBA world have we stepped into? Goran Dragic scoring over 20 points in the fourth quarter? The Suns playing scrappy and tough? The Spurs unable to hold the Suns under 110 points in a game all year? The Spurs, not the Suns, coughing up huge leads? Amar'e Stoudemire having a horrible game yet the Suns win by double digits?
This all isn't supposed to happen. The Spurs are supposed to catch all the breaks, hit the crazy, dagger three-pointer or bait the Suns into getting themselves suspended. The Spurs are supposed to destroy the Suns in the post and seriously out-rebound them. Greg Popovich is supposed to out-coach Alvin Gentry. The Suns bench is supposed be so weak that Steve Nash has to play too many minutes. Jason Richardson is supposed to be streaky, great one game only to disappear in the next. These are definitely not your father's Suns (or Spurs for that matter).
This is all so frightening and new, please, someone explain to me what is going on.
